How to migrate whitelisting connections from another provider
If you are considering transferring your whitelisting licenses to Insense, please follow the instructions below
The process consists of the following steps:
1. Provide a complete database of all influencers you want to migrate
The CSV file or Google Spreadsheet should include the following columns:
- First Name
- Primary Email
- Type of Connection (Whitelisting/Partnership Ads) (optional)
- IG Account (optional)
- FB Business Page (optional)
Once the account is set up, the Insense team will create a test campaign to authorize the client's Meta business account.
3. Decide on communication with influencers
Communication can be handled in one of two ways:
- The brand reaches out to influencers directly, explaining why and how to migrate to Insense.
- Insense contacts influencers on the brand’s behalf with prior approval.
The message will include a detailed explanation of the migration steps and a link to our support team in case of any technical challenges.
The copy will be provided and may be adjusted in collaboration with the brand.
Note: Insense is not responsible for any issues arising from Meta or the influencer's side but will provide all necessary instructions and escalations to help re-establish the whitelisting connection via Insense.
4. Remove access from the previous provider
To securely switch all current licenses, we recommend revoking access from your existing whitelisting provider. This will not interrupt any active whitelisting connections or ongoing ads.
To revoke access, follow these steps:
- Go to Meta Business Manager > Apps and click on Remove here (Admin rights required)
- Also, go to Facebook > Settings and click Remove *
* Use the personal account with Admin access to FB Business Manager.
5. Reconnect all creator access
Insense will automatically send requests to reconnect access and wait for influencers to approve them. This will include a Partnership Ads connection at the Account Level.
If the connection needs to be maintained through the "Old Whitelisting" method (via FB pages), additional steps must be taken:
- Communication to influencers: Insense or the brand must inform influencers of the required actions.
- Influencer action: Influencers must create an Insense account and join a test campaign to provide the necessary connections to Insense and the brand. This step can also be integrated into a real paid campaign.
This process typically takes two to four weeks, depending on Meta and influencer response time. Insense may require the brand’s assistance in following up with influencers.
Important: Some influencers are managed by agents or talent agencies. These representatives must have full permission to access the influencer’s FB/IG accounts or correctly guide them through the process.
